Pillars: Systems & SOPs, Infrastructure & Tools, Governance & Compliance, Community & Public Partnerships
The Challenge
Amore Transitional Group needed to move from a passion-driven organization to a legitimate, board-governed nonprofit capable of public engagement, fundraising, and partnership. The organization lacked:
- Formal governance
- Documented policies
- Board structure
- Operational systems
- Public-sector credibility
The Solution
SIO Consulting led a full nonprofit infrastructure buildout, establishing governance, systems, and public-facing legitimacy. The engagement spanned board formation, compliance documentation, operational design, fundraising preparation, and large-scale public awareness coordination.
Public-Sector Impact
As part of the engagement, SIO Consulting authored a formal proclamation recognizing National Foster Care Month in Fulton County, Georgia.
The proclamation was:
- Approved by Fulton County Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington, Jr.
- Subsequently recognized by Georgia Governor Nathan Deal
This recognition elevated the organization’s credibility and visibility at both the county and state level.
The Impact
By the end of the engagement, Amore Transitional Group had:
- Formal governance in place
- Operational systems documented
- Board leadership activated
- Fundraising and sponsorship infrastructure established
- Public-sector recognition secured
The organization was positioned to operate as a compliant, credible nonprofit with the infrastructure to grow.
Our Approach
